Ex-Guinea opposition leader named prime minister
Former Guinea opposition leader, Cellou Dalein Diallo, has been named as the country’s new prime minister. This decision comes after the recent presidential election in which Diallo was defeated by incumbent Alpha Condé.
Diallo, who previously served as the prime minister under former president Lansana Conté, has a long history of political involvement in Guinea. He has been a vocal critic of Condé’s administration and has called for reform and transparency in government.
Many hope that Diallo’s appointment as prime minister will bring a fresh perspective to Guinea’s government and help address the country’s ongoing political and economic challenges. It remains to be seen how Diallo’s leadership will impact Guinea’s future.
