Hamas Sexual Crimes Exposed in Israeli Report

Israeli report says Hamas sexual crimes ‘systematic’

An Israeli report has alleged that Hamas, the Palestinian militant group that controls the Gaza Strip, has committed ‘systematic’ sexual crimes against women and girls in the territory. The report, compiled by the Israeli military intelligence unit, claims that Hamas officials have been involved in the sexual exploitation and abuse of women and children, including cases of rape and forced prostitution.

The report highlights several instances of sexual violence and abuse by Hamas members, including instances where women and girls were coerced into sexual acts in exchange for food or other basic necessities. The report also accuses Hamas of using sexual violence as a tool of control and intimidation against the population in Gaza.

Hamas has denied the allegations, calling them ‘baseless propaganda’ spread by Israel to discredit the group. The Palestinian Authority has also dismissed the report, accusing Israel of using such claims to justify its military actions in Gaza.

The report has drawn condemnation from human rights groups and international organizations, who have called for a thorough investigation into the allegations. The United Nations has called for an independent inquiry into the reports of sexual crimes in Gaza, stating that all parties involved must be held accountable for their actions.
