Family share memories of Kenya’s marathon legend
Kenya’s marathon legend, Eliud Kipchoge, has left a lasting legacy in the world of long-distance running. His family members recently opened up about their memories of the world-renowned athlete.
According to Kipchoge’s brother, he has always been dedicated to his craft since a young age. “Eliud would wake up early in the morning to go for a run, even before school. He was always determined to become the best,” his brother shared.
Kipchoge’s mother also fondly remembers her son’s humble beginnings. “Eliud used to run barefoot in the fields near our home. We never could have imagined that he would go on to break world records and win Olympic medals,” she said.
Despite his international success, Kipchoge has remained grounded and connected to his roots. His family continues to be his biggest supporters, attending his races whenever possible and cheering him on from the sidelines.
As Kipchoge’s career continues to flourish, his family is grateful for the memories they have shared with him along the way. They hope that his story will inspire other young athletes to pursue their dreams with passion and dedication.
