Apple unplugs electric car project, reports say
According to recent reports, Apple has decided to discontinue its efforts to develop an electric car. The tech giant had been working on the project, known internally as “Project Titan,” for several years but has now shifted its focus to other initiatives.
While Apple has not officially confirmed the reports, sources close to the company have indicated that challenges in the development process, including issues with battery technology and autonomous driving systems, ultimately led to the decision to abandon the project.
Apple’s foray into the electric car market was highly anticipated, with many speculating that the company could disrupt the industry in the same way it has with smartphones and computers. However, it appears that the challenges proved to be too great for Apple to overcome at this time.
Despite this setback, Apple remains committed to innovation and is reportedly exploring other opportunities in the transportation sector, such as autonomous vehicle technology and ride-sharing services.
